Let's eat Krapfen!

Today is the last day of carnival, the last possibilty to indulge in "Krapfen", the traditional Austrian carnival sweets: they are dougnuts made from sweet yeast dough fried in fat or oil. The classical version is filled with marmelade or jam with powdered sugar on top, but you get them also filled with vanilla cream, plum butter, nougat...

  1. Yum! But never will I eat them, because I not only have to limit sweets but I'm allergic to wheat and yeast.
